The Little Things

When things seem to get overwhelming in your life, its time to take a
brake, and start to look at the little things in life that are all around
us. Things we have seen many times before, now its time to see them with the
eyes of  children, its time to see the wonder and magic of it all. A sunrise
when the dark of night fades into the light of day, and your day starts with amazing colors spread across the morning sky. If its spring or summer you can watch
the erratic flight of a butterfly as it crosses your yard, or the air show
put on by dragonflies or the wonders of the hummingbird as it hovers at the flowers edge.
The rainbow after a spring rain, lighting chasing itself across the darkened sky. In fall the colors of the leaves or in winter snow flakes on the window pain, a dense fog that makes the familiar, unfamiliar.
The Sunset, when light races to meet the darkness of the night sky with bold colors bouncing off clouds before its demise, the sound of crickets closing
out the day and the small lights of fireflies blinking through the night.
Time travelers called star light that not many stop to see anymore. All
these things and many more are free, they only need a little of your time,
in return, they will cleanse your mind and restore your soul.
